Why does NOLA Media & Design not work with Wix, Squarespace, or other DIY platforms?

We specialize in WordPress because it gives us flexibility in design, content management, and integrations. It supports everything from a straightforward business website to an extensive catalog or resource library, with options to adapt the site as your needs change.

WordPress also gives clients control over their content and a choice of hosting providers. We configure the editing experience around the site and offer ongoing support for updates, security, and maintenance. Search visibility depends on the quality of the website and its content; choosing a platform alone does not guarantee rankings.

Can you redesign an existing website?

Absolutely. Website redesigns are one of our most common projects. We can modernize your design, improve navigation, clean up content, enhance SEO, and streamline multiple websites or domains into one cohesive, easy-to-manage platform.

Both options are available. Clients may provide their own content (as you are the expert in your industry and have full knowledge about your products/services), or we can assist with content writing, editing, and SEO optimization. Many clients choose a hybrid approach where we refine and optimize existing content for clarity, branding, and search visibility.

Do you provide ongoing website support and maintenance?

Yes. We offer hourly rates, system-only maintenance and reduced rate prepaid ongoing support plans that include website system maintenance, content changes, troubleshooting, performance optimization, security monitoring, and general assistance. Support plans also provide priority scheduling and reduced hourly rates.

Can you help with hosting, domains, and email setup?

Yes. We regularly assist with domain management, hosting migrations, SSL setup, and DNS records. We can set up your email as part of your hosting package, but we do NOT offer support for Google Workspace. We can also help clients understand what services they actually need—so they’re not paying for unnecessary extras.

Will my website be mobile-friendly?

Absolutely. All websites we build are fully responsive and optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices. Mobile usability is a core part of both user experience and SEO.
