The client

Vered Back is a Miami-based photographer whose work captures shifting skies, clouds, and the changing light of sunset. Her photography grows from a longstanding connection to nature, alongside her work with Vered Organic Botanicals.

The website introduces her artistic perspective and offers photographs as acrylic pieces and fine art prints for homes, workplaces, and other interior spaces.

The design challenge

A photography website needs to give the images room to make an impression while helping visitors understand how to bring the work into their own spaces. The experience must balance the atmosphere of an artist portfolio with the practical details of an online store.

For Vered Back Photography, the scale of the collection added a significant layer of complexity. A large library of photographs, each offered in a variety of sizes and finishes, made this a substantial e-commerce undertaking. Organizing the catalog and its many product variations required a clear structure that would make browsing, comparing options, and purchasing feel intuitive while keeping the photography at the center of the experience.

The website experience

01 / Let the photography lead

The homepage opens with a full-width sky slideshow, white typography, and minimal navigation. Soft color, cloud formations, and changing light set the mood before visitors move into the artist introduction and collection links.

02 / Connect the artist with the work

A personal introduction leads to an About page that connects Vered’s botanical practice with her photography. Her story traces a fascination with glimpses of sky in New York to the changing views of Miami, giving visitors context for the images they see throughout the site.

03 / Turn a collection into a browsable shop

The shop presents the photography in a visual product grid, with style groupings including Dreamscape Skies, Freedom in White, Gold In Shadow, and Sky in Watercolor. Product links lead visitors from the broader collection to individual photographs and their available options.

04 / Make print choices clear

Individual product pages pair the photograph with material and size selectors, quantity controls, and an add-to-cart button. A full-screen image gallery supports closer viewing, while payment and returns information explains made-to-order printing and gives buyers a contact for order questions.

The finished website

The Vered Back Photography website design brings the artist’s story and print collection into one consistent experience. Visitors can spend time with the imagery, learn about the person behind the work, browse by style, and choose a photograph’s material and size.

The finished website gives the photography a prominent visual stage alongside a practical shopping path.
